Trigon is one of the most powerful and malevolent entities in the DC Universe, often serving as the primary antagonist for the Teen Titans . Created by Marv Wolfman and George Pérez, he is an interdimensional demon king and the father of the superhero Raven . The Birth of Absolute Evil

Arella fled to the dimension of Azarath, where she gave birth to their daughter, Raven. Raven was raised to control her emotions strictly, as any surge of feeling could allow Trigon to manifest through her and use her as a portal to Earth. Major Conflict: The Terror of Trigon Trigon
Trigon's origins began hundreds of years ago in a different dimension. A group of pacifists who had abandoned Earth founded the world of Azarath, where they attempted to purge all dark passions from their souls. This concentrated evil energy was cast into the Nether Realms, where it eventually took on a physical form. A cult later summoned this dark energy to impregnate a woman from their order, leading to the birth of Trigon. From his first moments, Trigon's power was terrifying:

Trigon eventually sought to expand his influence into other dimensions, specifically Earth. To do this, he needed a vessel. He seduced a human woman named Arella (sometimes called Angela) by appearing to her in a handsome human form. Once she was pregnant, he revealed his true, demonic nature. When Raven grew older and felt her father’s influence encroaching, she traveled to Earth to seek help. After the Justice League refused her, she gathered a new team of heroes, forming the New Teen Titans .
