: Use the Input Trim controls (left and right) to set levels. Aim for the loudest parts to peak near the top of the meter without hitting "Over" to avoid distortion.
: Load a blank CD-R or CD-RW. The display will show "Disc Loading" and then "Blank Disc" once ready.
: Press the Record button once. The record indicator will flash, indicating it is in standby mode.
