In the final confrontation, Seiya prepares to shoot the at Eris. Despite his fear of hitting Saori, Athena encourages him to fire. The arrow pierces the Golden Apple and Eris, destroying the goddess and releasing Eri from her control. The Bronze Saints escape the collapsing sanctuary just as Athena is fully restored.
