In the Stargate SG-1 season seven premiere, " Fallen ," the team locates the lost city of Vis Uban, only to discover their lost friend, Daniel Jackson, living there with no memory of his past after being stripped of his ascension. As Anubis attacks with a new superweapon, a memory-wiped Daniel is crucial to infiltrating the Goa'uld flagship with Jonas Quinn. The mission succeeds in disabling the weapon, but it results in Jonas being captured by Anubis while Daniel returns to the team with his memories slowly returning.
