Riley and Danny are tasked with planning an engagement party for Riley's friends while they are in the middle of their own messy breakup. Their mothers, Bonnie and Jennifer (who are archenemies), team up to try and force a reconciliation. The plan backfires spectacularly when a live microphone catches the moms arguing and insulting the bride, leading to a public revelation of Riley and Danny's split and the ruin of the party.
