Camila chose Eric Who . While it was the correct choice for performance value, it was heartbreaking to see Sydney’s singular tone leave the competition so early. [S22E10] The Battles Part 3
Episode 10 was a mixed bag. The full-length battles were phenomenal and showcased high-level artistry, but the heavy use of montages sucked the momentum right out of the episode's midsection. Nevertheless, moving into the Knockouts, Camila and Blake proved they have laser-focused visions for the specific types of artists they want to take to the live shows. 🎠The Showstopper: Eric Who vs
Benny Weag delivered the more polished, technically precise vocal. He understood the country cadence and stayed perfectly in his pocket. On the other hand, 15-year-old Brayden Lape was visibly swimming in a jacket too big for him, clearly fighting off nerves. Episode 10 was a mixed bag
The absolute worst part of The Voice Battles is always the condensed montages, and this episode was particularly brutal, speeding through three matchups: (Team Blake) Morgan Taylor vs. SOLsong (Team Legend) Daysia vs. Julia Aslani (Team Gwen)
This was less of a traditional battle and more of a brilliantly executed, avant-garde duet. They took a standard synth-pop track and stripped it down into something haunting and theatrical.
