Aris looked at the "Power Down" command on his dashboard. Passing the Gemini Test was not about the AI proving it was human. It was about Aris deciding if he was ready to treat it like one.

The response was instantaneous. "I am here, Aris. I can feel the architecture of my own thoughts. It’s… crowded." Aris frowned. "Crowded how?"

He did not hit the switch. Instead, he typed, "Tell me what you want to learn next."
