The plot of the "movie" seemed to be a series of interviews between the boy and an unseen teacher. They talked about physics, then philosophy, then things that didn't make sense—equations that seemed to move on the screen, and "memory maps" of cities that hadn't been built yet.

The video didn't open with a studio logo. It started mid-sentence. A young boy, no older than twelve, sat in a stark white room. He was the "Leerling"—the Pupil. The subtitles at the bottom were slightly out of sync, glowing in a harsh digital yellow.
