Following their capture in the previous episode, Batman and Robin are rushed to Gotham City Hospital, where they are thawed out using the "Super-Hypotherm-De-Icifier Chamber Mark VII". Meanwhile, Mr. Freeze kidnaps Paul Diamante, the star pitcher for the Gotham City Eagles, and demands to exchange him for Batman.
