Alien(1979) «Limited»

Deep in space, the commercial towing vessel Nostromo is carrying 20 million tons of mineral ore back to Earth. The seven-member crew—Captain Dallas, XO Kane, Warrant Officer Ripley, Navigator Lambert, Science Officer Ash, and Engineers Parker and Brett—are awakened early from cryosleep by "Mother," the ship's AI.

Dallas, Kane, and Lambert descend to the barren surface and discover a massive, biomechanical derelict spacecraft. Inside, they find the fossilized remains of a giant "Space Jockey" whose chest has exploded from the inside. Kane explores a lower chamber filled with thousands of leathery eggs. When he approaches one, it hatches, and a spider-like creature—a —leaps out, melting through his helmet and attaching itself to his face. Alien(1979)

The facehugger eventually dies and falls off, and Kane appears to recover. During a final meal before returning to cryosleep, the crew is horrified when Kane begins to convulse.
